Dear DMS users :

In the v1030 and future versions, the major direction has been changed to "The local priority", and listed below is the general plan of the v1030 version.

1. More accurate scraper results
2. Faster scraper operation
3. An in-app (local) function for adding a network path to the media library
4. An in-app (local) function to repair or correct metadata
5. Other minor changes and improvements

The Collections issue is more complex and may not be ready for the v1030 release, but we are working on it.

The same applies to TV series issues, which are related and not being ignored, but we do not want to delay the release of other improvements while this work proceeds.

As always, your feedback is vitally important and provides a direction for us. I will continue working hard to improve the DMS experience.

About the progress of v1030:

* most of the UI/UE design is done except the function of Collections.
* the APIs to add and fix media, Collections have been finished, but the development of UI just in the early stages .
* the scraper speed is faster than v1020, but still not good enough, our goal is faster than v1010.
* the schedule of other minor changes is under control

Since the other thread was closed if you need any diagnostic or tests run when you get to the 4K over Ethernet issue (and) I would be happy to test or run bandwidth test etc. thanks

About the progress of v1030:

* UI development working are finished, maybe need do some adjust depend on the test team report
* The workflow of major feature are finished, like fix metadata, add path to media library in the local, the feature of collection.
* the working of scraper speed almost done, but stil have one problem is showing the poster in the process of scraping

the first beta version has been provided to the test team.
