Hardware Problem/Question dms turned of again

Got home after 3 hours working and found that DMS was turned of again. Don't know why, previous time there was no valid replies why this should happen. There has to be a reason why. CAN the answer be in the log files?????

does the DMS have a shutdown after non use timer or a sleep function ??

I've been told NO to shutdown.

Mine is on all the time. Never shuts down.

I wonder if it's over heating??

I do turn mine off if I know I'm not going to use it for a while

my previous media player use to be turned on always and the only times it turned of was when the power supply failed. I don't believe it is over heating as DMS have previously been on for months.

Check the temp of the power pack to see if it feels abnormally hot, many of them have internal thermal fuses. My DMS does not do this. The DMS box itself does not have any thermal shutdown that I have seen and I have had mine apart several times.

This was not a hardware problem but a supply problem. Power supply does not feel abnormally hot.
