I would like to use Movie Server offline in my RV. I have several hundred movies loaded on the internal hard drive. I tested this by disconnecting from my home network and there are no posters to choose from when I attempted it. Really hope I can use it this way. That's main reason I purchased it.

You should be able to see everything as if it were connected to your network. Haven't tried with the new V2XXX upgrades but I lost my network for 4 days at one time due to an outage and I was able to watch the movie server with no issues offline. -
