DMS 2020 Web App does not allow changes - information is empty

Like many others, after installing 2020 none of the movies showed up. Did a rebuild, and I have to say that the scraping is way ahead of any other release - all of the changes I had made manually with an earlier release were recognized, so instead of having to fix hundreds of posters there were just a few. Kudos also for the Collections, it figured out 90 where the last rebuild only found 30 or so - but some that were collections before are not in this release :-(

Now we get to the problem. In the Web App, when you look at any poster and select either I for information or 'fix match' the path and information about the movie is completely blank. Edit has some of the movie information, but no tags are displayed.

Thankfully the scraper was better, because I have always used the Web App to fix the matches... and this time only had a few to do on the DMS.

That is actually good news, thanks for the feedback.

Change to 2020 last night. I didn't see a huge improvement in the scrapping for my collection.
In fact, I think it was worse for tv series.

And yes... PLEASE include the path on all edit screens. What a pain. Not only do you have to switch tab, but scroll down too.
On the DMS side, It NEVER finds the correct option for a movie or show I am trying to correct. However, the web side does. Strange to me that this would happen.

My star trek 1967 got split in to 2 shows and only had a few episode in each. Most are lost.... Not in videos etc.?

I just ran the update last night and by the time scrapping was done, I didn't have any time to check it out really.
Fixed a few movies and episode from videos same count as prior. But I haven't had a chance to see what is "missing" yet.

I play from the folder a lot, so it is not the end of the world for me. But my wife just want to browse/search so it is a big deal!!!!

Yes, I agree. This update is good news. I now have no un-editable thumbnails. It would be very helpful if the collections on the DMS could be presented on a wall as in the web app. Also if the posters in the selected collection could be presented in date release order. When there are large collections eg like James Bond, this would be very helpful.

I agree, but some prefer alphabetical. Maybe they can make it a user setting for the preference.

Signals, I agree about the date order - I too have the 20+ James Bond movies in a collection and sorting by date would be extremely helpful. User preference sounds like a good call.

I did not see any comments from you about the missing information on the Web App... I hope that you were happy about the scraping and that the missing details was not 'good news'.

I would certainly be happier if the movies in a collection were listed in release order. I would find it nice if they were in alphabetical order. On my DMS, they appear in some random order...

I am having this same issue as well with some of the movies but not all of them. If it is missing Path Information I cannot scrape it.
