Remote Viewing

I am considering purchasing the movie server for me and my extended family, but am wondering if I can use it for remote viewing...

If the server sits are one location, assuming the proper networking is in place, could my sister watch a movie from her house the same time I am watching a movie in my living room?

The DMS is not really designed to work this way (serving video out of the network port). It can read files from devices on a network and play them on your TV.
