    DVD Ripper AVCHD from DVD

Does DVDFab already support AVCHD in DVD Ripping and maintain original resolution (720x576)? (from disk or from hdd)
I did not find suitable setting for this.

I suppose there is a lot of people who have Sony TV. Those can support only AVCHD, HDV(MPEG2-TS) and MPEG2-PS from DLNA.
Any of those 3 formats should be ok so prefer the one which use less disk space.

    No other Sony users?

Does DVDFAB support any of those 3 formats?

What file container(s) does this TV support if any, or is it only the transport streams? i.e. will it play MPEG-2 streams that are presented as files with a .mpg suffix?

Earlier I did not find container specs.
        Now I found more data:

        These are for DLNA:
        Codec Container File extension
        AVC HD MPEG2TS .m2ts, .mts
        MPEG2 MPEG2PS/TS .mpg
(Looks like if I want to save disk space then only possibility is AVCHD?)

I have noticed that also .vob works but some problems with audio.
If audio is 0x80 or 0x81 then it works. If audio is 0x82 or 0x84 it don't work.
I assume that those numbers corresponds to audio stream number (not sure).
--> if original audio is 1st or 2nd audio in DVD (0x80 or 0x81)then it works with Sony TV, but if You have more audio streams(number 0x82 or bigger), those don't work. (PC and PS3 can play stream numbers 0x82 and bigger)
--> Can DVDFAB replace original audio number (for example 0x82) with 0x80 if only one audio (of several) has been ripped?

Sony TVs are stupid because some formats work only in USB :
        Codec Container File extension
        AVC HD MPEG2TS .m2ts, .mts
        AVC H.264 MP4 .mp4
        DivX Home
        Theater 3.0 AVI .avi, .divx
        MPEG1 MPEG1 .mpg

There is also other formats but table don't describe if they are USB or DLNA compatible. Table don't include .vob at all.....

I tried to find out what are those 0x80 etc.
Maybe something related to PGC_AST_CTL (byte 0x0C) in inPGC header?
