Video Converter WTV support

Hi, Would you please add support to Video Converter for WTV as an input video format? This is the file format that Windows Media Center produces. Thanks.

This thread is for VideoConverter, please start a new one if you have a request for a different DVDFab module. That being said, DVD Creator produces DVD formatted files (VIDEO_TS folder containing IFO, BUP and VOB files), not formats for a specific device.

Signals, I meant that DVD Creator should support the WTV filetype as a video input format, not as output. I assumed the process would be common between video converter and the creator as it has to do the same thing. ie; convert the input to a usable format. If you feel I need a separate post, then I will open one.

WTV file input

I would be VERY interested in the ability to convert the DRM protected WTV files produced by recording TV with Windows Media Center to DVD compatable files (VIDEO_TS folder containing IFO, BUP and VOB files).

Many people are now recording with Media Center and would like the opportunity to archive TV programs to DVD or BluRay.

WTV as input YES!!!

There are two issues with WTV files... The first is simply supporting WTV as an input source for File Converter, this would be a nice add.

The second is bypassing the Windows MCE DRM encoding for flagged programs so that they can also be used as input sources regardless of being "copy-freely" or "copy-none" or whatever the flags are.

Both of these would be pretty good features for DVDFab, there isn't much out there right now dealing with WTV (Bigasoft, one or two others) and no one bypasses the DRM yet. Pretty wide open market if you ask me.
