DVDFab (UI/General) Slow download speeds

Where does this company keep its servers that hold the updates? In a cave?

I am on cable and the fact that the latest update to DVDFab (all 46 MB) will take my browser about 40 minutes to download is pathetic!

Spend some money and upgrade your servers people. This is the 21st century, after all.

On most sites, a 46 MB download takes about 20 seconds. Not to mention Apple, of course, where a 600 MB download will only take about 1.5 minutes!

Get with the times. Don't just concentrate on building your user base, make an effort to keep existing customers happy.

It's not only kakkala, whos upset with this Situation. Do you keep your Servers in China?

I agree. The slow download speed is pathetic. Every time I get a message that there is an update, I groan. I start the download and head off for a smoke and a cup of coffee.

It is great to see though, that the company has replied and they have said they will fix it. Will see what happens at the next update.

You both should also check with your internet provider. The servers are in North America with a mirror in Asia. I just downloaded the v9071 installer at about 700 kbps, which is not great I agree, but it is not that bad. They have said they will improve it, please have some patience.

I just tried it from here in rural MO, and it took 2:57 to download by my trusty iPhone stopwatch. Nothing I'm going to get in a twist about.
