DVDFab (UI/General) Make reading this sticky mandatory to become a forum member

Fab should make reading this sticky Mandatory before a person is allowed to become a member of the Forum as the new members are just not reading it and not posting their logs files.Happens everyday all the time.Making it mandatory will make things go a lot faster and people will know how to post them also.http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=16

Fab will save server space on unnecessary posts also.

I am not really sure it would help and there is no easy way to "require" that anything actually be read. When time permits I will generate a page that will be displayed to anyone in the New Member usergroup that will provide the links.

When you buy the program don't you get a email receipt? Their you can add the links to read if the buyer wants to become a member of the forum they should read these links before posting so they will know how to post logs and be given a change to join the forum right away.Maybe it will help a little.Seems not many read the sticky's.

Good idea Glenn... BUT.....

As signals has pointed out, there really is no way to force them to read ANYTHING as they seem to have their head up where the sun never shines!!!

I think Signals can confirm this as we have both been involved with Fab forums for many, many years and have failed miserably on every occasion.

Not being negative but just being realistic. Good thought & good luck.
