BD Ripper (3D Plus) Both forced and unforced subtitles

I have been struggling on a few things with Avatar 3D lately.

The one feature request I hope for is to be able to have both forced and unforced subtitles in an MKV 3D rip. MakeMKV has this ability as shown in the attached image (but it can't make 3DTAB MKV files), but with DVDFab you have to chose to either have only the embedded forced track, or the whole track. Can't we have both here too?

Your goal in this is not clear to me, i.e. do you wish to take an interleaved stream that contains both normal and forced subs and make this into two streams, one that contains the normal dialogue and one that contains only the translations? Or one stream that contains both normal and forced and one that contains only the forced (or only the normal)? Stream 1 in your example is both forced and defaulted on, the purpose of which I do not undertand. Please clarify for me!

It's the latter. I always rip one track with forced subs only and one with both forced and regular items. You can't do it any other way in MKVs cause the standard does not read item flags but only track flags. So if you rip Avatar which has one track with regular subs and a few items in between that are flagged as forced, any media player (except those based on LAV filters) will ignore the flagged items and read the track flag. If default is set to on, ALL items will be displayed.

The second option.

As far as I can tell, DVDFab can rip the subtitles from Avatar 3D either 1 of 2 ways. The first is if I select only the English track, all subtitles, forced and non-forced (translations and English) will be ripped. The second option is to check that box that says rip forced-only. Thus only the forced track (translations) will be ripped.

Essentially what I would like is both subtitle streams. The first being the forced-only track and the second is all subtitles, both forced and not. MakeMKV does this, as shown in my picture and from the MediaInfo output I provided.

As for the subtitle file tagging in the MakeMKV file above, I did that myself. Track 1 is the translations and track 2 is all English and translations. I want to force the translations to always show, and want to be able to select to play English subtitles if I want. Maybe I have done it incorrectly.

Tested on Avatar 3D and it works. But I was also wondering if it would be possible to automatically tag the forced subtitle in the MKV file as "default: yes" & "forced: yes"

Or is that too complicated? I can definitely do it on my own after, but I was just curious.
