DVD Copy full disc copy mode

just wondering if full disc copy mode will be able to add/delete audio and subtitle settings in program

    #2
No, because it would not live up to its name if it did. You can get the effect of a 'controllable' Full Disc mode by using Customize mode, selecting desired titles and then doing whatever you like to the subs and audio streams. The menus will still work unless you exclude them. Note the Blu-ray Customize does not currently work this way.

We will add this feature to Customize mode.

For Full Disc, we will consider to allow user to remove unwanted audio/subtitle.
DVDFab is the all-in-one software package for copying Blu-ray/DVD and converting video file.

What I usually do is use DVDfab 9 copy DVD9 to make a copy on my hard drive, then open it up in DVDShrink to take away subtitles and audio I wouldn't listen or read anyway and customize menu's by sliding down the quality in extras/special features then re-encode it again to fit a 4.7GB disc.

The feature I am more interested in is converting a DVD region disc to another. Like if there is a PAL region 2 DVD. And I own a region 1 dvd player the disc will not play on it. Now I have used IFOedit to patch all the menus of the DVD from PAL to NTSC, but the process is long and tedious and it's only those 2 regions that are switchable, not regions 3+ on up.

DVDFab can already remove all region restrictions on discs. Customize or Main Movie mode will allow you to make the same changes to content of audio and sub streams. Editing the IFO files will not actually change the content from PAL to NTSC, and neither Fab nor DVD Shrink can do this. The Fab output of PAL DVDs will play on many PCs and Media Players and even some TVs, but not on most standalone DVD Players that are Region 1 NTSC.

This Guide gives a quick overview of the 'Patch' method, used to make a PAL disc appear as if it was NTSC or an NTSC disk appear as PAL. This method

Sorry to hijack this thread from someone else but there was this PAL DVD called Kammerflimmern "Off Beat" (German movie) that wouldn't play on my region 1 dvd player until I used the IFOedit program to convert the IFO and BUP files to NTSC, and then it would. I just had to use DVDFAB9 to encode the files first. All I meant is that there are a bunch of other programs that people use separately, and I was just thinking you could roll them all into one? It took me like a week to even find this method of conversion.

I want this feature desperately, lo, I NEED THIS FEATURE. Been wanting this for years. I've been using MultiAVCHD 4.1 to remove unwanted audio/subtitles and helping shrink the overall title, but hasn't been working well with DVDFab recently.

What DVDFab does is shrink the main movie to BD25 only instead of the full disc(extras included), and I'm left with a movie that fits in a single layer bluray but not the extras. Has happened with several movies recently e.g., 21 & Eagle Eye.

This procedure is a workaround to 'trick' the player and does not actually change the video characteristics. It may work for some titles and players but is likely to have unpredictable results.
