This is just a suggestion. When doing DVD to Mobile conversions, why not find and scan for the average bitrate of the selected item e.g. VOB files of the main movie. This could then be set as the fixed bitrate in the Encoding box to give near perfect 1:1 copies of the original DVD video. If needed these could then be changed if required. Do you think this possibe ?

Anything is possible...BUT...
Most DVDs are written with variable bit rates...a dark, static image requires a lot fewer bits than an action scene with constantly changing backgrounds...
Applying a constant bit-rate to that scenario will give you too many bits for relatively static images, and not enough for the fast action ones...(= blurry images).
A long way from 'perfect'...
A good variable bitrate controller would be much better for picture clarity in all situations...

I don't think this would be practical or beneficial for DVD to Mobile, since the video is completely decoded and then re-encoded when going from MPEG-2(DVD) to MPEG-4 (mobile formats). There is no more than a coincidental correspondence between the average bitrate of the two. The shape of the bitrate vs. time graph would probably be similar though, since the peaks and valleys for both should track the content of the video.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................
