I have been reading about the new version 9 software and am not impressed with what I have read.
I LOVE 8 as it's simple, and fast. I only do single layer copies but it has been flawless for years. I do all the updates as they come out and have been able to backup all of my cds without any problems. My grandkids ruin at least 1 to 2 cds a month so I make a backup of the backup and we're back in business.
I do have one ?. When I do a backup of a backup should I use clone or full disk? I use full disk.
I hope 8 is around for many more years although I think it's just wish full thinking.
Thanks for reading my rants and health and wealth to you all.

tdshore, either method will work. My personal preference is clone in the rare event I need to backup a backup. The best bet is to go back to the original.
How to post the internal log

Try it instead of just relying on what others say.
