    Crash while starting DVDFAB

    Hello

I have a problem with all new versions of DVDFAB since version 8.0.2.1.
When I start the DVDFAB program it crashes all the time, I can't start DVDFAB anymore.

Until version 8.0.2.1 it works fine.
If i reinstall this version, no problem occurs.
But after updating to the latest version, I get the same crash.

    I am running Windows 7 64bit.

Any ideas to fix this problem ?

    Thanks

    Yves

If you get any error codes or other messages it would be helpful. Since it seems to be version-related, it may be something on your PC. It runs fine on Win7Pro(64) for me. Check your GPU drivers and update them as necessary.

I got the following lines in the dvdfab_internal.log:

The errorlog.xml says (a part of the file because this is quite large):

Run Fabs uninstaller and then reinstall v8056. There was a problem with that version, it created a corrupt file in the appdata folder. The newer versions should remove that folder during the uninstall process.

You might want to try an older operating system?Could you pm me and tell me if you have fully deactivated "Trusted Installer"?

            I found the problem.

            Normally I specify my DVD-RW as A: and my BD-RW as B:.
            Since version 8.0.3.2 the DVD-RW or BD-RW can't be A: or B: anymore.
If it is, DVDFab will crash.

Thanks for all the suggestions and responses.

            Yves
