    Why duplicates?

I got a really good question, that I want to understand...Why Are there duplicates of video files in the list when you add a dvd or bluray to "dvd ripper" / bluray ripper" they all have mostly the same length and audio options, and which one is the right one to choose, are they in there in to fill the disc space???

    Thanks

They are not really video files (those are the VOBs) they are titles. They can have many purposes in addition to the copy protection that AGJ mentioned. In some cases they are slightly different versions of the movie (like theatrical vs. director's cut), or sometimes they have opening and closing credits in different languages. The IFO files tell your player (and DVDFab, via PathPlayer) how to stitch them together for correct playback for your region and language selections.
