I'm contemplating purchasing a Region 2 DVD movie (no longer produced in USA for some reason). Can I use DVDFab to change the Region code for a backup?

DVDFab will in most cases (unless you have a matshita optical drive) copy the disc and make it all region, but it will not convert the PAL video to NTSC to be played on a USA television.
