Yes, in DVD Ripper many of the profiles have an option for audio only. You can convert it to AAC, MP3 etc. Not sure about a passthrough of the AC-3 stream from most movies or odd audio types like LPCM etc.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ I have been using "Video mp3 Extractor", a free program that will let you select bitrate before you extract any sounds out of a video file.
I will compare if DVDFab does a better job and if so I will be using it for that as well.
I wasn't aware DVDFab had that option at all.

Yes, you can set the bitrate before making the conversion for MP3 and AAC, but not AC-3.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts
