i am trying to convert apacalypto to avi, i cannot the get the subtitles at the beginnning of the movie to work. the 2 files seem to be there, (idx & another 1), but the subtitles do not display. any ideas?

If you are working from the original Region 1 DVD, you need to put a checkmark in the top (I think it is the top one) english subpicture stream, then do not put a check in the "display only forced subpicture" box, and select direct render to video.
