    Star Trek Problems

Okay, so I got my copy of Star Trek yesterday and went to back it up with Fab 6 and I couldn't get it to ever read the disk, fab just kept reading it and reading it, so I cancelled it and open up Fab 5...That seemed to work...but when I reviewed the backed up DVD, it skipped huge portions of the movie and I cannot figure out why or what to do to get a 1:1 copy...I was only doing the "main movie" only...maybe that has something to do with it?

    Can someone please help me???

    Thank you in advance!

It worked fine for me. Are you using a registered (paid) version of DVDFab or the free version? (The free version does not support the protection removal necessary for this disc yet). If you have the paid version, you must have v6.2.0.2 or 6.2.0.5 and have PathPlayer set to "Always Enable".

It's the paid version, but I will say that I have not changed or checked any of the settings. I will check this afternoon and try it again.

      Thanks for your help!

Star Trek no problem with current version Full Disc to HDD then burn to DL and single, both came out great.

Removal of new protections may not be available yet in the free version of DVDFab (HD Decrypter)

Same here with Reg1. No problems and it played flawlessly.

Not a problem, with all the updates here lately it easy to loose track of which one you have.
But then that is the good part ( all the updates )

Have a good one and if you need anything else let us know.

Hi, I just purchased the dvdfab today and tried burning the star trek to single layer and it gives me an error it is not big enough and there is no option to split it? I tried doing what the one post- I set Img burn as the default and it still won't work for single layer and I tried using dvdshrink to fit it on the dvd but it won't play in a dvd player for my tv, it will only play in my computer dvd? Is there s trick here i am missing?
                            Thanks

Download and install the current version, ensure that Pathplayer is always enabled and select DVD5 in the bottom centre of the Fab window.

There is no need to use Shrink as this should do it all.
