QT seems using registry switch for non-QT

After upgrading to DVDFab 8 Qt I unchecked the general switch "Create files in subfolder of output directory". This had no effect and a subdirectory was still created such as:
    "THE_MECHANIC" was placed into "..\THE_MECHANIC\THE_MECHANIC.ISO"

I brought up regedit in windows 7 and found two copies of the key "AutoSubFolder". One was in "V8\GENERIC" and the other was in "V8_QT\GENERIC". The key in "V8" was set to 1 and the one in V8_QT was set to 0. Setting the older version key to 0 solved the problem.

I also found that the older program, 8.0.8.5, was still at
    C:\Program Files (x86)\DVDFab 8
and had not been deleted. I purchased and registered 8.0.8.5. Should I now uninstall it or do I need to keep it since it was the one registered?

The desktop link I used to execute DVDFab.exe pointed to the newest version as shown below and the program that starts up always displays 8.1.0.5 when loading profiles.

They install in different folders so you can leave the older version installed if you want it.

At least in the case of "AutoSubFolder", the new version is using property settings associated with the older program. This seems to be a bug and I do not want to have to use the registry to have to set properties. I was thinking that if I uninstall the 8.0.8.5 then the new program, 8.1.0.5, would no longer use the older property settings. I assume that uninstalling 8.0.8.5 would remove the older registry entries and that if needed, 8.1.0.5 could always be re-registered using the key mailed to me for 8.0.8.5

      Best Regards
