QuickSync requires a CPU and motherboard that support it, but is very fast. How it would compare with CUDA depends on your video card. Users that have tried both report that the quality is better with Software or Software+CUDA settings.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ DVDFab lets you choose which type of GPU acceleration to use for decoding and encoding, and it does not have to be the same for both tasks. See the attached screen capture of the DVDFab Common Settings page that controls this. I am not sure if I understand correctly what you are asking, sorry.
GPU acceleration does not apply for tasks in DVDFab that do not fully decode and re-encode the video, i.e. not Clone mode for DVD or BD, not in compression of MPEG-2 DVD-Video except in DVD Ripper etc.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................
