I would like to purchase an external DVD burner for my Dell inspiron E1705 laptop.
Any suggestions regarding brand(s).
or any other recommendations.

I bought a Samsung slim-type drive (USB powered) for travel that has been great. I think the model is an SE-SO82 or 84. Works well with DVDFab reading and writing. Has OPC (power cablibration) for improved burn quality.
