Optical Drives WH10LS30 Issues

Hello - My drive is a little over a year old. Everything I burn over 1x fails and it makes this weird clicking noise. It is a LG WH10LS30. I am guessing the drive is shot, its not the media because my other drive works fine. Any suggestions on good models?

I was looking at the special at new for the Asus one. BW-12B1ST

Try blowing the dust out of it before you chuck it out.

never done this with a drive. I am assuming I should open the drive, then take it out of the pc and spray it?
