It sounds like the dreaded registration key/UAC not sticking problem.

If he follows the instruction in that thread I indicated, it should resolve it.

I considered requesting a new key but I don't understand why it still works in XP. Maybe just one of those magical mysterious PC issues?

          Exactly...I'm thinking voodoo myself...

Xp does not have the registration problems that we are having for Windows 7

As I said, read the "Registration Key Problems" thread and follow the instructions precisely.

I am sure that it is a problem with the UAC in especially "Home" versions of Windoze but cannot confirm it. The procedures in the thread should circumvent the problem.

Is it common for the registration to work for over a month before seeing the issue(s)? Is there a resolution?

                    No, not in my experience
Nothing special about 30 days except that it is the length of the free trial

Thank you. I would really rather resolve the issue without getting a new key but if there is no other answer then that's what I will be forced to do.

like maineman said but the key might not have registered correctly and if you request and try a new key it should work for you. You do not have to buy a new key just request a new one to be sent to you as that is free and would be sent to your email immediately as well

The only resolution I see in the above posts is to request a new key. As I said, if no one knows of an alternative resolution then that's what I will do.

So obviously you missed this then !!!

                              And this....

And to be quite honest, why the reluctance to get a new key?

After reading all of the posts since I last posted, I am wondering the same question????
