Hd dvd

There is a college with a stack of HD DVDs. His player died and he has managed to acquire an XBOX HD DVD drive. He wants to re-master as Blu-ray so I suggested your software to rip the video prior to using it in his mastering software. I have had a look at the menus and the FAQ etc. and can not see which item he needs or if it is now unsupported and he needs and old version ? (if old, which one ?)

There was only a single version of DVDFab that supported HD-DVD, it was a release late in the v5.x series and is no longer available.

Passkey has some support for HD-DVD decryption and limited content manipulation (remove menus, delete first-play title, etc.). Suggest your friend download Passkey and use the trial period to evaluate it for his purposes. Note that in Passkey, support for HD-DVD and hybrid drives must be enabled in the Settings menu.
