Other Brightness control Video MP3 Player

I have the DVDFab free HD Video MP3 Player that was given as a free gift. It has worked fine until my son accidently lowered the brightness on the screen so low that I no longer can see view the screen. I know the screen works because when I turn it on I get the DVDFab logo flash. I know the player still works because I can hear the movie sound. I have removed the battery for over four days and it doesn't seem to reset. Does anyone know how to reset this? Thanks

Try this:

Turn the unit on, wait for the DVDFab splash screen to go off.

• Press the right arrow button (on the top) 10 times.
• Press the left arrow button one time.
• Press the large Mode/Enter/Select button one time.
• Press the left arrow button two times.
• Press Mode/Enter/Select button one time.
• Press (quickly) the left arrow button one time.
• Press Mode/Enter/Select one time.

The steps above will reset the unit to factory defaults.
