Purely for my own benefit I've done a search on the forum and on Wikipedia etc to try to better understand the Bits/Pixel number given when using BD Ripper. I have seen some information but if anyone out there (Ipopov, signals etc) could kindly explain what this figure is and how it affects the BD Rip quality (I copy to M2TS and then convert mainly to mkv if necessary for file size purposes), I would be very grateful --- Basically, an 'Idiots Guide' as I'm not technically brilliant - Thanks

Bit per pixel, or B/P is a mathematical construct that takes into account frame size, frame rate, video bit rate (and other factors in some cases) to give you a single number that you can use to gauge the "quality" of the video encoding, much better than just looking at the video bitrate. DVDFab recalculates and updates the B/P number when you make any changes on the Edit page the would change it. Generally speaking, more is better.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts

You are welcome, it is a handy number. The way that DVDFab re-calculates and updates it as you make changes is a great feature.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts
