    Intel i7 Ivy Bridge Update?

hi, i read in a post somewhere on this forum about the new Intel i7 Ivy Brigde Processor and it possibly causing artifacts to appear in the Blu-Ray Rips, does anyone have an update on this issue?

Does anyone know if it actually is the new processor causing this problem?

Because i would love to upgrade my processor, but I use DVDFab Blu-Ray Ripper a great deal and I would hate to spend all that money and realise i can't actually rip anymore.

    cheers. Tang.

It's more of an issue than just the CPU as to whether it will work at all or not. I believe it requires a certain Intel chipset on the motherboard. Check this before purchasing. Although an upgrade to an i7 quad core would make a tremendous difference in conversion speeds if you are using something else now, whether the QS feature worked or not.
