Signals no worries I closed it now and will post my final report after I finish my tests

HD Decrypter does not install VSO but will let you use Img or Nero. This thread is getting too long for users to be able to find things in it easily. When it gets to 5 pages I will close it.

As for getting the message I have not got it yet but have got a message telling me to buy when I tried the DVD5 option on a DVD9 movie. I will continue tonight with more testing using more recent released DVDs as well.

Thanks AGJ!
Its good to know. Probably people need to remember to make sure DVD9 and not DVD5 selected. But I'll just buy the product when the trial runs out!

Well gave it a try last night and no problems but funny thing is it burnt to a DVD. That was strange so I looked in common settings and I have Nero and ImgBurn there to select but I thought that was for ISO images. Going to give it some more testing to see what will happen and will post results here when I am finished

I have been using dvdfab for a couple years or close to it and it has always worked in the free version. Unless it has recently been changed i thought it was part of the free version. I have since upgraded to the paid lifetime version and love it. I would recommend that everyone do the same and their problems will cease to happen, at least most of them.
Anyway as i was saying, after my trial version expired it still let me copy main movie.
Just not the ones that had the latest protection on them.
I am assuming that what used to be called HD Decrypter and the free version are the same.
This is a little confusing.
If i am wrong, please explain to me the difference.
TY

Also, I'd like to point out that the error message did not come right away - I ripped about 3 other disks and then came to this one, and that is when I got the message - so it happened in the middle of a session.
