To crop or not to crop that is the question..

    Hi,

I have asked this question already but it is mixed in with another forum.

How many of you use the crop feature to remove the black bars?

I can not imagine it saves much file size so why not just leave it as it is on the original?

In my case I will always be keeping the aspect and resolution as the original, should I worry about cropping?

This forum has really helped me get to grips with dvdfab.
    Thanks.

It saves file size, encoding time and pixels on your display device, all of which are better when used for active video, not black bars. Handheld and small screen playback devices in particular should have the bars cropped, but the choice is yours, that's why there is a control for it.
