What to use to recode a back up

I have a real BEGINNER question.
I use DVD HD Decrypter and Passkey.
When I RECODE to back up my DVD I use NERO RECODE.
However, when I try to back up some, like Mr Poppers Penguins,
whatever they have on that DVD turns my Nero Recode off.
It's too big to get on a DVD.

What should I be using instead of that ?

This is the DVDFab forum, so we really can't help you with other products. You can compress the files to make them smaller with the registered (paid) version of DVDFab DVD Copy. There may be some new protection scheme on that disc.
