The monkey is better 100% and since this not a DVD to DVD problem I am moving the thread to the general questions area

Sorry, I thought it was a DVD to DVD question, since I was using the DVD to DVD module of the program to make a backup.

My Point? I was merely puzzled why the two different pieces of software appeared to report such a different list of protections present or not and removed or not. I would have expected the list to be the same?

Not my first post, as I used to post in the CD Freaks DVDFab forum, sorry you didn't think this merited a first post here.

not a DVD to DVD problem but a question which is why it was moved to general questions

like you said two different pieces of software which is why they reported differently as they read it different than each other

Used to post on CD Freaks that would explain why you posted what you did as that is a breach of the General Policies we have for this forum and is the reason why AlienX69 said what was said. And what you asked did not merit a first post by asking it

Different pieces of software. Reporting Copy Protections Differently. Fair Enough. But I would have thought the actual copy protection was the same, so I was puzzled why one reports, for example "Bad Sector Protection not Found" and the other says "1 Potential Bad Sector Protection Removed" and a whole host of unplayable cells removed.

Enquiring Minds demanded the question be asked. I merely wanted to know whether one piece of software was really not removing all the protection aparently in place.

I apologise for posting in the wrong place.

Seems like everyone has been "friendly" to you considering you posted before reading the forum rules and general policies of this forum but if you feel that way......
