DVD 9, names not make sense again....

In V8 the name of stuff had been tweaked to where it was finally making sense.

Like "Sub Titles" not "Sub Picture".

Did no one look at V8 for any guidance?

Is there going to be a thread dedicated to GUI issues?

I have already uninstalled V9. Went back to V8's latest "beta". And I am wrong about the label for Sub Titles. It is Sub Picture in V8 as well.

However the organization of, appearance of, naming schemes for, etc., in V9 are not intuitive.

V9 is NOT progress. It feels like Microsoft's Vista fiasco.

There has been an entire sub-forum with thread after thread for issues, opinions, problems etc. for months. You can report bugs or other problems, but the time for the "I don't like it" sort of thing has pretty much passed.

"Subpicture" is the correct technical term from the DVD-Video specification.
