License/Key What happens to keys when adding new components?

I have lifetime versions of DVDCopy and the Blu-ray toolkit. When I added the latter there was a hassle getting all to work because the key for the toolkit nullified the key for the DVDCopy. DVDFab finally got my different products onto a single key. Now I'd like to add DVDRipper. Am I going to run into this same problem again?

I'd like to add it to DVDFab 8. And if I get that done successfully, will I have issues adding it to VDFab 9, which I have already also installed (and I'm not thrilled by the new UI)?

I'd like to do this with the least hassle possible. I didn't buy this stuff piecemeal by design. When I originally bought, it was DVDFab Gold.

It should not be a problem if you use the same email address to make the purchase. It will all be in the Member Center list and available to download for v8 and online register for v9. I think you will need to re-register v8 and possibly v9 for the keys to take effect.

How do I re-register DVDFab 8 and DVDFab 9? Then I could try it and see.

The problem last time, when I bought the blu-ray toolkit was that only the new purchase showed up in the Members list. The old one got lost. It was quite a hassle getting it fixed. As I recall the solution was to issue a new key that included all products.

Install both v8 and v9. Check your Member Center account to make sure the new option is on the list there. If it is, download the new v8 key and register v8 as you did before. Close v8 when you have finished. Now open v9 and click on the "?" and select "Register" from the dropdown list. Enter the email and password you used to access the Member Center. If the new option is not on the list, you may have used the wrong email address to purchase it or there may be another problem. You must be connected to the internet to update the v9 registration.

I followed the re-register instructions. If I log into Members, it shows DVDFab Gold and "never expire". In DVDFab9, it shows DVDCopy and "expired". I'll have to do some testing to see what works and what doesn't.

          Thank you.
