Is there any real difference between V9 & 8?

I use version 8. Will 9 give me anything better, other than a different interface?

Just not sure what the benefits are of 9 over 8.

We are told there will be options available in V9 that will never be in V8 and the most important difference: V8 will only be updated and supported for a limited time, might as well get on the V9 bandwagon and learn it.
