Privacy Question for DVDFab 9 9

Of late I read an article about certain software being able to access not only your entire PC and Server systems, but manipulate and destroy such systems. Really scary.

Will the new DVDFab 9 give DVDFab such access, thus invading our privacy and security, given the fact that 9 is an internet based?

In a word, no. It sends non-personally identifiable information to check to see if your license is current and to fetch decryption information for processing Blu-ray discs. It has no need to root around in your PC and does not do it. You share more information about yourself when you use a credit card at a gas station.

From now on I will use cash only to buy gas.
