    Why was v8 kept?

I'm a registered user of DVDFab All-In-One and recently made the upgrade from v8 to v9.

The problem is that, after I installed the latter, the previous version still was (and is) on my system. I wonder why was it kept.

Do I need, for some reason, to have both installed, or I may I uninstall v8 without any problem?

    TIA.

You can delete v8, it was done that way so that both versions could coexist on you PC during the transition period.

You can uninstall v8, but it might be a good idea to keep both. v9 is an evolving release. The two versions coexist fine and v8 will still do things v9 will not yet do.

      Now I'm too slow signals.
