Very slow burning on new PC.

Hi All: I'm new to the forum but have been using DVD Fab for years. I just upgraded to a new laptop with plenty of muscle and, when burning DVDs, my burn times have suddenly gone from 10-15 minutes to 4-5 hours. I'm running Windows 7. Any advice would be much appreciated.

You may be able to rescue the situation by using ImgBurn..

Also your drive is in PIO mode, try setting your drive to DMA mode.
Open Fab Click the Green √ top right > General > make sure Check for DMA Automatically is Checked and also Click the Reset DMA to the right click OK and restart Fab.
You may have to restart your computer.

Try selecting the DVDFab burning engine. Post the burn logs rather than the DVDFab internal log when you have burning issues.
