I had the same issue and registered. Workaround works ok!
Now every time I open DVDFab as soon as I insert a disc it starts analysing and crashes. I tried to revert to 9028 doing a full uninstall but it still crashes when trying to rip from disc. I have tried several discs and they do work in 8228.

Which version are you using? There was a replacement installer for v9.0.3.3, if you downloaded before about 6:30 AM EDT Saturday (1130 UTC Saturday), you need to download again and re-install it.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ 9.0.3.3
I had to revert windows to an earlier date to solve the crash issue.
Then I installed 9.0.3.1 and all worked fine.
Today I reinstalled the new 9.0.3.3 and after the installation I started DVDFab all ok.
I the closed it and started it again, now it immediately crashed.
I restarted the PC and now it works.
However, all settings I made are gone and had to be done again.
I also noticed that the cropping function for BR is not acting correctly.
When I set the cropping area and move back to the output it doesn't keep the settings.
I need to manually set a value I think is correct in my case 1920x800.
If I use 8.2.2.8 this function works ok.
See attached.

Happening to me too.
Edit.. and then minutes later, tried again and the program started. But then on the NEXT opening of the program I am greeted again with the "DVDFab failed to connect the internet... HD Decrypter" message. First attempt at workaround failed - refused my password and login details (I checked twice).
I'm not sure what's going on. So, a quick question, does DVDFab require the internet to start every time? Is it currently broken for everyone?
I guess I'll come back next week or so.. hopefully fixed by then. I know bugs can take days to sort out.Last edited by frypan; 04-15-2013, 02:40 PM.

Please make sure you are using the revised installer for v9.0.3.3 Beta. It was posted around 1130UTC Saturday 13 April (6:30AM EDT US, etc.). The MD5 checksum for the correct installer exe is 8956FD10241BFB1D2DFDC48F6C71F25E. In my case, I was using the correct installer. It's ok for me now anyway, I tried yet again to rip a particular BD that needed an online update to read the disc. Eventually it worked and accepted my login details. Just took awhile to get there. I did add DVDFab to a new firewall rule to allow all internet access as suggested earlier. Not sure if that helped, but seems ok now.
