9055 corrupt download file

the download page for 9055 shows 43.8mb file size
when I download it the file size is only 27.5mb
when I try to install the program it says the file is corrupt
try downloading another copy

has anyone else having the same problem

never mind I waited 15 minutes and went back
now the download file says it is 43.9mb
I haven't tried installing it yet, but at least the file sizes match now. it should work

but it didn't work

still says the setup files are corrupted, obtain a new copy of the program

No problem downloading at all. It took about 6 minutes with a basic cable speed. This was a bit longer than usual but I thought the server might be busy.

I see there have been some errors with this version so how do I check this? Do I do it before installing to make sure it's okay or after installing?

I have downloaded the latest 9055 version (43.9 mb) but don't want to install over my working version (9047) until I'm sure that it's error free

If you can run the installer, it usually means it's ok.

The file itself is not corrupt on the server, it is corrupted in the download process in some cases. For a quick check on the MD5 I use some freeware called Smart File Advisor which integrates an MD5 checker into the context (right click) menu in Windows explorer. It's really quick and handy to use by just right clicking on any file and selecting Checksum. There are many others available, you can google "MD5 checker" and choose one you like.
