Cinavia problem

hello trying to make a protected copy of a specific film which has cinavia on it. After placing the disc in the drive it scans through it brings up the message about it containing cinavia on it but for some reason it keeps greying out "Create a protected disc"...... can any one help

Please post the internal log. Which copy mode are you using?

Protected copy's are only for old playstation firmware and will only work with Playstation if it has old firmware.This is really a early work around only for the Playstation.This may not even work anymore and may be why it's grayed out.

Finally got it working, will the protected disc work in a stand alone blu ray player with cinavia on it ?

Please read, what glenns wrote: The copy of the protection is only for old FW at playstation, NOT for stand alone blu ray player.

If you have a Cinavia protected disc and you make a copy then you need a stand alone player with old FW (without Cinavia request) otherwise it won't work. The solution: buy a media player like HiMedia 900b. This device play all ISOs without considering any copy protection.
