After installing v9 it did not pick out my key, the computer has no internet connection, how do I get V9 to recognize my key? When double clicking the key it launches V8.

An internet connection is required for v9 registration and for Blu-ray decryption in v9 and v8. I purchased a lifetime key, surely there is a way to load it into v9 so that I can still burn DVDs on that machine, I do not need the bluray.

This has been the case for over a year, v9 does not use a loadable key, there were too many abuses of the old system. Send an email to mona(at)dvdfab.com and explain your situation, but I don't think there is much she can do. If you have wi-fi, you can make the other machine online when needed with a USB wi-fi adapter.
