    DVDFab 9.0.6.8 Notes

    Seeing as this is more of a Bug report and does not pertain to any specific DVDFab forum listed (ie: DVD/Blueray..ect,ect...) I felt it was best to post it here.

    After installing v9.0.6.8 , I immediately checked the settings to verify anything which might have changed and this is what I have found.

    Settings > General > A/V Codec > Video Decoder

    Settings were Changed.

    After updating to 9.0.6.8 - H.264 and VC1 were both changed to DXVA

    Originally, I had mine set to Software.

    If the Disable all GPU box is checked before installing 9068, it is remembered correctly. The individual settings may be the problem.

      The point is that NONE of the settings should ever be changed when a new version is installed. If something MUST be changed, the user should be informed at install time and why.

      We went thru this once before and we were told this wouldn't happen again. Famous last words.
