Hmm odd, thought every user has it considering that Dora asked me to send the log..
Just installed 9.1.1.7 but it didn't fix my problem.
You have both cuda and IQS in v8. Now both of them does not worked in v9?
1. Try set DVDFab to be "Run as Administrator".
2. Please check your Anti-virus software, maybe it prevents fabcheck.exe from running on your computer.

1. Didn't fix it. Also, UAC is disabled..
2. No AV software running.
It's a pretty fresh windows install. 2 or 3 months I think.
I'm considering to re-install windows and install Fab 9 right away after installing drivers. Might do that this weekend.
1 - is your power supply powerful enough so that your system is not under powered?
2 - The GeForce GTX 570 is not in the Black slot, is it?
If so, then try moving it to the Blue slot. (the black slot is x4 mode where as the blue is x16)
3 - Are both the 6-pin power connectors connected to the video card?
The reasons I'm asking these questions is because these are the most basic and as such,
they tend to get over looked most of the time as they are the simplest of things.

It's not in the black slot. It's in the PCIE x16 slot.
Ok, the Cougar GX G800 in an 800 watt power supply.
How many drives in your system?
Hard drives, Optical drives, burners, Ect..
Then there is the processor, memory fans and what not.
I'd say you should at the very least have a 1000 watt PSU or more depending on what you
have in your system. Your video card alone requires at least a minimum spec 550 watt PSU.
This is why I mentioned powerful enough so your system is not under powered.
I've been doing this stuff for a long time and my first burner was a Yamaha SCSI burner back in 1994 which cost about $500 back then.
