BitDefender Antivirus Plus problems

I cannot successfully install the latest 9.1.1.9 (and no doubt bestest!) version of FAB as it keeps telling me to shut down BitDefender. This seems almost impossible including as it does entering Safe Mode etc. on my PC. If I ignore all the warnings, it keeps saying the burning engine is not installed. And, now it just won't even start. Any thoughts?

Got it to work

By going into Safe Mode, I now have the prog in and working. But that was a bit of a faff!

This is a long-time known issue that must be corrected by Bitdefender, it blocks access to resources that DVDFab requires. I generally recommend Avira+MalwarebytesPro instead.

Try this:
.....Bitdefender Internet Security...

for some reason it interferes with fabcore.exe so that it keeps increasing in memory usage untill it caps at a certain level and then stalls....no need to uninstall Bitdefender though..... just go into settings/Exclusions/Excluded Processes and add dvdfab.exe and fabcore.exe.....

Well I do apologise for the late answer but doing that stuff with my Bitdefender has worked. No more Fabcore crashes and all seems well. Thank you for the suggestion.

Your welcome in the future try the Fab search engine as the question comes up and is answered a lot also I believe there's even a sticky note on it.
