I have done all that, I give up this doesn't make any sense that Percy Jackson would work fine and not Red2, both are brand new DVD's just purchased them and both original copies play perfectly in my DVD player, the backup of Percy I did also plays perfectly but not REd2

Steve you saved to hard drive she burned to disk can you do a test burn as that's what's needed here and play from menu.

Main Movie only here. I don't care for menus and previews and the extra crap. Try "Main Movie" and see if that's the difference?

              Main Movie

I burned a copy of Main Movie only BUT cannot get rid of the subtitles in this way. I went in and disabled the subtitles like it tells you but they are still in the DVD in the Main movie Copy without menus and crap as Steve said I also cannot get DVDFab Newest version to keep my settings I change them to lose the subtitles and it didn't save in the program and I end up with subtitles showing through out the whole movie. Without a menu I cannot disable them in my player or anywhere.

BECKYW: Did you check don't record any subtitles in Fabs settings as the screen shot below shows? If you do it from main movie you have to uncheck the subtitles from each disk.

Regardless of this your player has settings to turn off subtitles and pick between them if theirs more than one.You don't have to do this from the dvd menu.

Displaying settings on the remote control of your player should bring up the on screen settings to adjust subtitles audio track etc.I never seen a hardware or soft wear player without them.

If you had a rewritable disk so you don't waste blanks I would of told you to try making the full disk by turning off pathfinder for this disk and try again. Also sometimes burning a ISO as I told you before works when full disk doesn't.

Beckyw: After you change the subtitles to select no subtitles in Fab settings you must click ok and close Fab when you reopen Fab the settings will take effect.

Fab use to have a pop up box telling you this but it seems it was left out of the current version 9.

I have tested main movie with and without subtitles and it works fine for me.

Or this way if you don't want any subtitles at all ever on the individual backup disc:

Okay I did this as you instructed I found a rewritable disk I had one left that was still fairly new and used it, I clicked the none in the settings closed Fab reopened chose main movie burned it and checked it (played it back subtitles are still there I went in checked Fab settings again and it did not save the settings when reopening. The None was not checked, but I checked it and saved it and closed and reopened per your instructions. The program is not working properly and I do not know why. I have done everything I have done a complete uninstall and reg clean and reinstall 7 times now and am getting no where with this new version.

Okay I know my player has settings to turn off subtitles but it is does not work on this movie, the feature is unclickable. on my DVD player with the back up copy. The player in my computer is the same not clickable to turn off subs its like it is missing the part that makes the button or link for that feature work.I use Power DVD player in my computer and it is the latest version of that.I have a Sony surround sound DVD player connected to my TV that is only about 6 months old.So I do ont know what else to try with this movie, I have given up it is stressing me out trying to figure out wht the issue is with this. Like I mentioned I had the latest version of FAB the one right before this new version popped up Dec 17th and I updated it, and I was not having any problem with the last version at all. I even backed up movies others were saying they couldn't get then I updated to this one and now I am having all sorts of issues with this version.

Did this and hit okay then closed the program because it said you must reopen Fab for settings to take effect reopened it burned main movie still subtitles in it, Fab did not save the changes tried this 3 times it is not saving my changes they are going directly back to default as soonas I close the program and reopen it,its like I never did it.

When you use power dvd are you opening the power dvd program first then clicking the triangle on the movie tab showing the drive letters? The last choice is open movie from hard drive I want you to open the movie this way by clicking find the movie on hard drive find the folder with the movie by clicking it then the program plays and the subtitle buttons light up and are usable.

If you stream a movie from the full disk folder and click the stream folder the subtitle button doesn't light up.

Why not download the version of Fab that worked well for you the last version is still their to download.

I don't know why your having this problem other's are using XP and have problems from time to time but not so bad.Are you making sure your taking all the windows updates?
