License/Key Move licence from PC to MAC question

Hello!
I've owned Dvdfab since 2008. Purchased retail of course. It's been running fine on a Windows based pc for that long. My pc crashed not long ago (bad drive). Is there a way to switch or transfer the licence to my MAC platform?

Support got back to me. Changeover time limit is 3 months. Makes no sense that my licence never expires and I can't switch my licence.

I am not sure I understand that either, I will ask further up the food chain. They may have thought you wanted both Win and mac under the same license. Copy the text of the response you got and send it to me in a PM (do not post it in the forum).

Signals Do I understand you correctly that I cannot use the same DVD Fab License on both a Mac and Windows version even if I only use one of the versions at a time?

Update

There is a promotion underway that allows a one time, non-reversible change of OS from PC to Mac or vice versa. There is also an opportunity for the DVDFab Gold users to upgrade to the full DVD Copy version. This all expires in about 9 days and may not be offered again. Restrictions apply, as they say on TV.
