Extremely slow updates download speed

Whenever a new version is found I'm notified when starting DVDFab which is great but accepting to download the update is a real pain in the a**...the transfer rate is ridiculously slow and I've seen transfer speeds as slow as 20KB/s.

Are there any plans to improve this?

I just downloaded 9.1.7.0b in about two minutes, not particularly fast but not ridiculously slow. Try again maybe.

That's strange because I've had this issue for at least the 10 last version updates and I'm on a wired 100 Mbit connection.

I too have a wired connection to a cable modem, nothing special about the speed. I just downloaded again and stop watched it for accuracy, 1:21.93 less than a minute and a half for 9.1.7.0US beta. I'm at a loss to explain.

I can't duplicate this either except via a VPN in a different hemisphere.
