Where are we at on the CUDA NVIDIA driver thing?

Are we safe to update as NVIDIA keeps asking me to do?

Or is DVDFAB still better off with older NVIDIA drivers?

As far as I know the newer nvidia drivers do not support CUDA, they are designed for the newer Kepler-based hardware and use NVENC encoding. The advice given in the CUDA status thread should still be correct I believe, but I will check with the staff in Beijing.

The post #1 is still correct. Whether you are better off to update or not depends on your nvidia hardware.
