I just got a new computer yesterday, which was needed. Was getting tired of the aggravating drive bay on the old one

I removed all traces of FAB before trading it into Best Buy, so can I just download it onto the new pc without upsetting the Gods of the Universe?

Yes! Just register the installation on the new machine and all will be well.
